Two nursing students elected to SBCCD Board | News

In a calendar year when college campuses reopen just after a global pandemic, two nursing pupils will be the scholar trustees on the Board of the San Bernardino Local community Faculty District (SBCCD).

Lauren Ashlock, 19, will depict Crafton Hills University and 19-yr-old Elena Sanchez Paez will symbolize San Bernardino Valley Faculty (SBVC). They have been elected by a vote of their friends, and they were sworn in on Thursday, June 10, via Zoom, for a just one-12 months term.

She hopes to end her program at SBVC and then transfer to Cal State San Bernardino to make a degree in nursing.

Ashlock is a graduate of Loma Linda Academy and has been getting her Crafton Hills courses on-line in the pandemic year at the exact time as her mother and father and her siblings have been working and learning from property.
