Sally Jean Lucero, who was lively with Redlands Unified School District as an worker and longtime volunteer, died of a brain aneurysm April 28 surrounded by family members. She was 59.
Born Oct. 28, 1961, in Loma Linda, Sally was a single of 12 little ones of Tony and Cecilia “Cha Cha” Garcia. She graduated from Redlands Superior School, exactly where she was a cheerleader, in 1979. She attended Crafton Hills Faculty.
Together with her husband Conrad, she as soon as owned and managed Ceramic Zone in Redlands and was a member of the Present-day Ceramic Studios Affiliation.
At the time of her death, she worked as a dental assistant and place of work manager at Dr. Conrad Lucero’s Relatives Dentistry in Redlands, and as a substitute business office attendant with Redlands Unified University District.
She was an active dad or mum volunteer, serving on the PTAs at Mariposa Elementary, Moore Middle University and Redlands East Valley Substantial College, and also as a band booster at REV and Moore, wherever she was the club secretary. She was honored with a PTA Assistance Award. She remained shut with her fellow volunteers even soon after all of their young children experienced developed, and regarded them prolonged family members.
She was a bike owner, and was a member of the Ride Oneself Suit Bicycle Club.
She also beloved investing time with her relatives, gardening, going for walks, climbing, crafting, cooking, touring and caring for pet dogs.
She attended Holy Identify of Jesus in Redlands.
In addition to Conrad, her partner of 29 yrs, she is survived by her daughter and son-in legislation Amanda and Jeff Bates of Carnelian Bay daughter and son-in-law Chelsea Lucero and Aric Perez of San Francisco, and son Phillip Lucero of Los Angeles granddaughter Ellisyn Bates mother-in-regulation Gloria Lucero of Colton sisters Nancy Boeger, Cathy Kevari, Patricia Jackson, Betty Keeling and Laura Beighey of Redlands, Carole Miller of Torrance and Monica Hally of Pharma, Ohio and brothers Tim Garcia of Redlands, Thomas Garcia of Taos, New Mexico, and Ernie Garcia of Indio.
She was preceded in dying by her brother Tony Garcia, and her father-in-legislation Joe Lucero.
Adhering to a private memorial Mass, a celebration of her lifestyle will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Might 21, at the Edwards Mansion in Redlands. Attendees will be asked to don masks and display a history of vaccination or a 72-hour modern detrimental COVID test. Sunset Funeral Care is dealing with preparations.
